MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to Greensburg Community High School!

I want to take this opportunity to welcome all students, parents, and guardians to another school year. We look forward to you being a part of the GCHS community this year and assisting you in your academic journey. Our staff builds this community on trust, integrity, optimism, and meaningful relationships. We are united in the pursuit of maintaining and creating more opportunities for student success and growth each year.

GCHS has over 145 curriculum course offerings, 43 Dual Credit opportunities (HS and College Credit), 17 Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, and over 124 local community partners that make up our community learning environment. We are also a fully endorsed Early College High School and we continue to work with our staff to maximize their talents in bringing classes and curriculum offerings that will assist our students in being college and career ready when they graduate from GCHS.

Lastly, there are multiple opportunities for GCHS students to be involved in their school community with 40 extracurricular activities and 19 varsity sports offered. As a GCHS student, it is our goal for you to challenge yourself daily, and remember, the GCHS Community opens doors of opportunities for every student to be college and career ready and thrive as a productive member of society.

Welcome to GCHS and Go Pirates!

Mr. Mike Myers, Principal
